Workers killed, injured or sickened on the job will be remembered April 28 during the International Day of Mourning.
The annual memorial service has been relocated this year from Centennial Park to the Firefighters’ Memorial Garden at the Clifford Hanson Fire Station, 240 East St. N., beginning at 6 p.m.
Parking is available at the adjacent Strangway Centre, Germain Park and church parking lots.
The event is sponsored by Sarnia District Labour Council, Victims of Chemical Valley, Workers Health and Safety Centre, Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers OHCOW and Sarnia Fire Rescue.
