On April 4th 2025, at approximately 1:40pm, plain clothes officers observed a male smoking fentanyl in the alleyway behind a business situated at Colborne Road and Exmouth Street. A search of the male incident to arrest resulted in the seizure of a four inch hunting knife, bolt cutters and tin snips. Further investigation revealed that at the time of arrest, he was subject to a Probation Order, with a condition not possess weapons.
Forest JARDINE, 30 years of no fixed address, was charged with the following offences:
- Breach of Probation, contrary to section 733.1 of the criminal code
- Possession of break-in instruments, contrary section 354(1) of the criminal code
JARDINE was held for a bail hearing.
