Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, who is known to frequent southwestern Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Thursday that Matthew Daigneault, age 36, is wanted as a result of breaching a statutory release; he is serving a five-year, two-month and 14-day sentence for convictions of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, weapons possession and impaired driving.
He is described as a white male, 6-feet tall, 243 lbs, with a short/receding hairline (possible shaved). He is known to frequent London and surrounding areas.
