Holy Trinity School in Sarnia is getting $534,000 to open 39 new child-care spaces for toddlers and preschoolers in Sarnia.
The provincial funding is being used to retrofit two classrooms, add washrooms and storage, an outdoor shed, and fencing to create a separate outdoor play space for the child-care program, the St. Clair Catholic District School Board said.
The venture at 60 Lorne Crescent is a partnership of the board, London Bridge Child Care Services and Lambton County.
The new child-care facility is expected to open in mid-spring.
