A Sarnia mother and her son have been charged with drug trafficking.
City police entered a home in the 200 block of Durand Street Tuesday night and arrested a 47-year-old woman and her son, 19, who lives at the same address.
Drugs worth more than $5,000 on the street were seized, including hydro-morphone tablets, codeine pills and about $1,700 in cash, police said.
The pair was taken into custody for a bail hearing.
They stand charged with three counts each of possession of painkillers for the purpose of trafficking.
