City Hall was a busy place Wednesday when Sarnia officially marked the 100th anniversary of its incorporation as a city, on May 7, 1914.
Here, children from the Aamjiwnaang First Nation Junior Kindergarten and Day Care sing O Canada and happy birthday in Anishinaabwmowin. Looking on are Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley, Lt. Governor of Ontario David C. Onley, and Brian Knott, the master of ceremonies.
The celebrations also featured a cake-cutting, the St. Clair marching band and school choir, a town crier, Aamjiwnaang Chief Chris Plain and Lambton County Warden Todd Case.
