Destiny’s Gate
Lee Bice-Matheson & J.R. Matheson
Sarnia native Lee Bice-Matheson and her son J. R. Matheson teamed up to write this book, which was released to good reviews in August.
It’s the second volume in the young adult Paige Maddison series, and like the first it follows the young heroine on a personal journey through ghostly visions and supernatural powers.
“If my book provides an escape for one person, when they need it most, then I am a successful author. That’s what success is to me,” said Bice-Matheson, a lover of ghost stories and Vincent Price movies.
Bice-Matheson’s first book in the paranormal series was Wake Me Up Inside (FriesenPress, 2012), a Literacy Award Winner from the readers’ advisory panel of the public library in Orillia, where she currently with husband and chiropractor Kevin Matheson.
Collaborator and son J. R. Matheson is a student attending McGill University.
Destiny’s Gate is available at most online book stores and at The Book Keeper.
