The Sarnia Sting announced this week they have acquired forward Daylen Moses from the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for a conditional 12th round pick in the 2025 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
Moses, a 6’1”, 180-pound 18-year-old was a free agent before signing with the Greyhounds during the 2021-2022 season.
The Ottawa, Ontario native spent that season with the Ottawa Senators U18 AAA of the HEO 'AAA' Hockey League, where he recorded 11 goals and eight assists through 26 games played.
“A competitive forward with size and can skate,” general manager Dylan Seca said in a news release. “He also helps our right side from a depth perspective.
“We’ll see how he transitions into our program.”
The Sting host the Windsor Spitfires Wednesday Sept. 20 at the Pat Stapleton Arena, formally known as the Brock Street Barn. Tickets for the event are general admission with seat selection to be first come first serve and can be purchased online at tickets.sarniasting.com or at the Box Office during regular hours.
