Sarnia’s Landen Hookey was acquired by the Ontario Hockey League’s Owen Sound Attack in a trade this week with the Soo Greyhounds.
The teams made a swap of 2004-born wingers, with Julian Fantino heading to Salt Ste. Marie.
“Landen has been a great ambassador of our program and we wish him all the best in Owen Sound,” Greyhounds general manager Kyle Raftis said this week.
The teams also exchanged their respective 15th round selections in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection.
The 6’4 right winger has posted six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 36 games played this season, after registering one goal and four assists last year in his rookie season.
Hookey, 18, appeared in six playoff games last season as the Greyhounds made it to the second round.
