Both sides went without scoring for the first quarter, before Cole Lucas put the first points on the board with a scoop-and-score (fumble recovery), kicking off the momentum for St. Pat’s.

Calvin Sysel then ran in for a touchdown, just before the half-time mark.

Logan Dumond sacked the Lancers quarterback in the second quarter, and Evan Sygrove tossed a long bomb in the end zone for another touchdown to Owen Parco.

The senior boys’ football semifinals take place Friday, with St. Pat’s facing off against Northern at Norm Perry Park at 5 p.m. The winner of that match will face the winner of the 3 p.m. game between Chatham Kent and UCC, for the finals on Saturday, Nov. 11.
