Witness Appeal in Robbery Investigation

The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) is appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred on the Howard Watson Trail system.

The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) is appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred on the Howard Watson Trail system.

On May 31st, 2024, at 3:00 PM, the SPS responded to the area of London Road and the Howard Watson trail for a disturbance involving a number of people, with initial information that a victim had been stabbed and one of the suspects possibly being in possession of a firearm. Members from the Operations Division and the SPS Emergency Response Team (ERT) located a male victim who was transported to hospital by EMS.  The victim in this incident was not stabbed but did suffer non-life threatening injuries.

Prior to police arrival, three unknown suspects fled the area utilizing the Howard Watson trail.

Police are requesting anyone with information about this incident or who may have been driving in the area and captured the incident on their dash cam to contact the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Division at 519-344-8861 ext. 5300.
