On May 30th, 2024, a male entered a business located in the 400 block of Quinn Drive, Sarnia ON. The suspect
selected a crossbow and arrows and exited the business without paying. The suspect left the area in a silver KIA Sorrento SUV. Members from the Sarnia Police Service’s (SPS) Operations Division located the motor
vehicle travelling eastbound on London Line.
An officer attempted to stop the vehicle, however; the driver refused to stop and began to cross over multiple lanes of traffic and was observed weaving in between vehicles. The officer immediately discontinued his attempt to stop the suspect vehicle for reasons of public safety.
The license plate on the vehicle is believed to have been altered.
