Police Investigate Collision Involving Pedestrian

On January 23, 2024 at approximately 7:55 p.m., the Sarnia Police Service (SPS) responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian in the area of Exmouth Street and Copland Road.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained on scene. The pedestrian, a 29-year-old male was transferred to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed for approximately one hour for the investigation.

As a result of this investigation, it was determined that the pedestrian, who was wearing all dark clothing at the time, failed to use the designated pedestrian crosswalk. No charges will be laid against the driver of the motor vehicle.
