On September 24th, 2024 shortly after 5:10 AM, police responded to an alarm at commercial premises on Confederation Street west of Indian Rd. S in Sarnia.
Upon arrival, police observed a hole cut into a fenced compound and soon after located a male hiding in a dumpster. Police also located a backpack beside the dumpster that contained wire cutters and a quantity of stolen wire with an estimated value of $500.00.
A 38 years old of Sarnia was arrested and held for bail, charged with break and enter, theft under $5000, mischief under $5000 and fail to comply with probation.
