For years, the Midtown Trail was an overlooked corridor—underused, unmaintained, and forgotten. But thanks to the dedication of the community and grassroots efforts led by nuSarnia, it has been transformed into a vibrant, accessible space where people can walk, bike, and connect with nature.
Stretching across the city, the Midtown Trail links Lambton College to downtown Sarnia, providing a vital connection between key destinations. In honour of Earth Day, we’re inviting you to help continue this transformation by joining our Midtown Trail Cleanup on Saturday, April 26, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Why the Midtown Trail Matters
The Midtown Trail isn’t just a shortcut—it’s a symbol of community-driven change. By investing in public spaces like this, we’re creating a more livable, walkable Sarnia, ensuring that green spaces are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for everyone.
Keeping the trail clean isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about preserving the work that has already gone into revitalizing this space and making sure it remains a place people want to use and enjoy.
How You Can Make a Difference
One of the best ways to honour Earth Day is through action. By joining our cleanup, you’ll be making a tangible impact—not just for the trail, but for the entire community.
