SGCC crowns Men’s and Women’s Club Championship winners

Over the weekend, the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club held its annual Men’s and Women’s Club Championship event.

This season’s Men’s Club Champion was Steve Brown, marking his fourth championship win. Brown shot rounds of 68, 70 for a 2-day total of 138 to claim the title. The overall Men’s Runner-Up was Adam Graham, who shot rounds of 73, 68 for a 2-day total of 141.

Men’s 1^st flight winner was Heath McCormick with a score of 142.
Men’s 2^nd flight winner was Drew Davey with a score of 150.
Men’s 3^rd flight winner was Elliot Wylie with a score of 154.
Men’s 4^th flight winner was Bob Ferris with a score of 156.
Men’s 5^th flight winner was Tanner Nathan with a score of 155.
Men’s 6^th flight winner was Kevin Devine with a score of 158.
Men’s 7^th flight winner was Mark Kzyonsek with a score of 178.

The 2024 Women’s Club Champion was Cherie Armstrong, who shot rounds of 85, 78 for a 2-day total of 163, marking her first time claiming the title.

Women’s 1^st Flight winner was Peggy Connors with a score of 158.
Women’s 2^nd Flight winner was Julie Kelly with a score of 178.
Women’s 3^rd Flight winner was Brenda Gosselin with a score of 172.
Women’s 4^th Flight winner was Trish Gogas with a score of 192.
