The search for a missing Sarnia man is underway in the Thunder Bay area this week.
Police say Andrew Waters, 34, was travelling from Sarnia to Winnipeg on a silver E-bike, but hasn’t been heard from in over a week.
“Andrew was checking in with family and friends every couple of hours but that stopped on the 8th of August,” Thunder Bay OPP stated in a news release this week. “Andrew's location was also being tracked from GPS, which also stopped on the 8th of August.”
He is believed to be headed westbound.
Police say he was last seen August 8 at a gas station in Kakabeka Falls.
"He spent the night in the Kakabeka Falls area," police noted. "He spoke with a relative that morning via cell phone and has not been heard from since."
Andrew is described as being 6’2”, approximately 190 pounds, with am muscular build, hazel eyes, brown, short buzz-cut hair and a short beard.
“Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are conducting extensive follow up as they continue to search for Andrew,” police added.
