Sarnia’s $100,000 club grows again

The City of Sarnia had 138 employees who made more than $100,000 last year, and topping the list was a former fire chief terminated after being charged with sex crimes.

Pat Cayen had income of $186,530 in salary and taxable benefits, despite having left the city’s employ in January 2013.

His income included accumulated time and other payouts, city staff said.

Cayen’s case, totalling 28 counts involving minors, is still before the courts.
