11 p.m. - Defeated mayoral candidate Nathan Colquhoun was gathered with supporters at Maud's Variety, Monday night.
10:50 p.m. With the final polls reporting, here are Sarnia's unofficial results for mayor, city/county and city council:
10 p.m. - Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley has won his eleventh straight election; now giving a speech to supporters gathered at Paddy Flaherty's.
9:30: Live from Sarnia city hall: candidates Robert Dickieson, Brian White and CEO Chris Carter huddle with their phones to watch the results as they come in.
8:30 - "City Hall is often packed with candidates and supporters on election night, but so far only a handful of people have come to see the results posted in city council chambers," - The Journal's Cathy Dobson.
8:30 p.m. - At Sarnia City Hall where council candidate Andy Bruziewicz and a friend are awaiting results. "I am feeling pretty good about it," he said.
8 p.m. - Polls have closed across Sarnia, both online, and at all nine in-person voting locations across the city. The Journal's Cathy Dobson will be on hand at City Hall.
RECAP: Ontario's second-longest serving mayor, Mike Bradley, 67, is seeking his 11th term, with rookie councillor Nathan Colquhoun, 38, as his lone challenger. A full slate of city and county council candidates are vying for seats -- with four city and four city/county positions up for grabs. That includes incumbent city-county councillors Brian White, Mike Stark, Margaret Bird and Dave Boushy. Incumbent city councillor Bill Dennis is also running for a city-county seat. A total of 25 candidates are running for city-only council seats, including incumbents Terry Burrell and George Vandenberg.
