Sarnia man charged in connection to Point Edward break-ins

A 35-year-old Sarnia man has been charged following a pair of break-and-enter incidents in Point Edward.

Lambton OPP say officers were called around 8 a.m. on Dec. 7, regarding a theft at a business on Kendall Street.

“Upon further investigation, officers determined that a second business had also been broken into in the area,” a news release noted. “Officers identified the suspect through video surveillance and took the individual into custody shortly after.”

The accused has been charged with two counts of break and enter and two counts of theft under $5,000, and has been remanded in custody following a bail hearing.
