The first of several renovations planned for the Sarnia library is complete.
Visitors to the newly reopened library theatre will find larger seats, lighted aisles and increased space between the rows. It’s also now possible to add up to six barrier-free seats in the theatre.
The improvements include new flooring and lighting fixtures as well as a fresh coat of paint.
The project was awarded to Dorchester-based Aveiro Constructors Ltd. at a cost of $160,000.
Sarnia, which owns the library building, and Lambton County, which operates it, are jointly undertaking the renovations.
