The annual Candlelight Vigil hosted by Sarnia Legion Branch 62 will take place on Sunday, November 10, at 7:00 p.m. Participants are invited to gather at City Hall’s west entrance before proceeding to the Sarnia Legion Cenotaph, where candles will be placed to honour those who served. Candles, available for a minimum donation of $5.00 at the Sarnia Legion located at 286 Front Street N, can be personalized with messages for family members, veterans, or the Unknown Soldier.

On Monday, November 11, the Remembrance Day Service will commence with a parade forming at Sarnia Legion Branch 62 at 10:15 a.m. The parade will proceed to Veterans Park at 10:35 a.m., with the formal service beginning at 11:00 a.m.

These events offer the Sarnia community an opportunity to come together in remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for the sacrifices made in the pursuit of peace.
