Sarnia Police say no foul play is suspected following a death investigation at Sarnia’s Rainbow Park.
In a social media post Sunday morning, the Sarnia Police Service noted an ongoing police presence in Rainbow Park for a death investigation.
“Investigation is underway, however no foul play suspected at this time,” the post read.
The south end Sarnia park is the site of a homeless encampment, which has left neighbours and city officials at odds over how to address growing safety concerns.
Last week, a stabbing at the park sent one victim to hospital with serious injuries, and a 33-year-old Sarnia man faces attempted murder charges.
