The Town of Petrolia has announced that sign-ups are open for the annual Santa Claus Parade, set for Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Petrolia 150,” will highlight the community’s rich heritage as it marks its 150th anniversary.
Parade entries are invited in three categories: Elementary or School Age, Community, and Commercial. Line-up for floats will begin at LCCVI at 11:30 a.m., with judging at 1:15 p.m. Safety guidelines require that candy be handed out, not thrown, and all participants remain seated on floats during the event.
Registration forms are due by December 4, 2024, and can be submitted to Petrolia’s Municipal Offices in Victoria Hall or emailed to [email protected]. More information is available by calling organizers at 519-882-2350 ext. 253.
