A new digital platform, the Community Hub, has officially launched in Sarnia to centralize access to local information, events, and business promotions in one easy-to-use space. Described as “built for people who love where they live,” the platform is designed to simplify how people discover what’s happening nearby and empower them to take part in it.

Developed by #local, the Community Hub brings together events, community updates, local promotions, and more into a single interface. Users can browse current happenings and explore personalized recommendations based on their interests.

Key features include Local Genius, an AI-powered chat tool that answers community-related questions in real time, such as where to find local events or current deals. The Daily Update offers a refreshed webpage of curated information, while Discover Pages allow users to browse by topic or category. The platform also offers access to 20 percent discounts on gift cards from participating local businesses.

For organizations and small businesses, the platform includes tools to post real-time updates and promotions. Features like the Marketing Genius help local groups reach targeted audiences and build stronger connections with their community.
