Lambton County Library has expanded its innovative lending collection with the addition of tool kits for home and garden projects. The new kits include essential hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, and wrenches, providing residents with free access to resources for minor repairs and maintenance.

“By providing access to essential hand tools, we’re making it easier for patrons to complete minor home repairs or garden projects," said Kevin Coates, Public Services Coordinator, Collections.

The tool kits are the latest addition to the library's unique offerings, which already include fishing pole kits, walking poles, sports kits, Wi-Fi hotspots, and telescopes.

Tool kits can be borrowed for up to seven days with a valid Lambton County Library card. Cards are free for anyone who lives, works, studies, or owns property in Lambton County or resides in a First Nations community in Ontario.
