Starting Monday, October 7, 2024, Lambton County will begin accepting applications for its Creative County Grant Program, which supports arts, culture, and heritage projects planned for 2025. The program invests in new and innovative initiatives that enhance the community's cultural offerings, allowing organizers to apply online for funding that covers up to 50 percent of project costs.
“The Creative County Grant Program helps bring innovative ideas to life, and last year the County supported 23 initiatives that showcase the vibrancy of Lambton’s arts, culture, and heritage communities,” said County Councillor Brad Loosley, Chair of the Creative County Committee. “These projects are essential in telling Lambton’s story and building a stronger, more connected community.”
Since its inception in 2013, the Creative County Grant Program has provided financial support to more than 200 cultural initiatives across Lambton County. Local artists and community groups are encouraged to prepare their proposals and take advantage of this opportunity to enrich Lambton’s cultural landscape.
Applications will be accepted online at www.lambtononline.ca/creativecounty starting at 9:00 a.m. on October 7, 2024. The deadline for submissions is November 18, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. The County has allocated $75,000 for the 2025 program year.
