The Bluewater Gymnastics Club is launching an online survey to seek community ideas on how to add fitness and other sporting activities at the Sarnia facility.
“We’re looking at expanding programming to meet the wants and needs of a broad range of people in our community,” said Rose-Ann Nathan, the new executive director of the not-for-profit organization.
“We have a great space and state-of-the-art world-class equipment. We’re looking to optimize the use of the space and enhance this already dynamic facility.”
Families with the club have expressed interest in using the Lottie Neely Park Road building for stretching, yoga and general fitness. It also has a second-level viewing area that can be used for birthday parties and other events.
“We’re in the early stages, but we want to hear from people,” Nathan said. “We have the capacity to expand recreational programs at underutilized times - to be more, to do more and to offer more.”
