The Bluewater Health Foundation and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital (CEEH) Foundation have announced the winners of this year’s Dream Home Lottery, marking three decades of supporting local healthcare.

The grand prize home, located in Waterside Estates in Blue Coast Heights, was awarded to Samuel McLam, Robert McLean, and Edward McLean, all from Sarnia. The 50/50 draw winner, taking home over $279,000, was Danny Flynn, also of Sarnia.

“This year’s Dream Home Lottery has been another great success thanks to our incredible community,” said Kathy Alexander, Executive Director of Bluewater Health Foundation. “We’re so grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket and to the sponsors who make this fundraiser possible year after year.”

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Dream Home Lottery offered its largest-ever prize board, featuring more than 11,000 prizes valued at over $2.1 million. Since launching, the lottery has raised over $10 million for Sarnia-Lambton’s hospitals, Bluewater Health and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital.

Funds from this year’s lottery will contribute to the redevelopment of Bluewater Health’s Cancer Clinic and renovations to the emergency department at CEEH in Petrolia. Proceeds are shared equally between Bluewater Health Foundation and CEEH Foundation, supporting essential hospital upgrades.

“Our collaboration with the Bluewater Health Foundation continues to strengthen healthcare in our community,” said Mark Braet, Chair of CEEH Foundation. “It’s incredible to see the generosity of Sarnia-Lambton residents, and we deeply appreciate everyone who took part in this milestone year.”

The grand prize home, valued at more than $1.5 million, was built by ForBroad Custom Home and designed by Kemco Engineering. The fully furnished home, styled by Jen Sottosanti Design, features a two-car garage, open-concept great room, custom-built kitchen, main-floor primary bedroom, loft space, and a basement entertainment area.

“The Dream Home Lottery plays a crucial role in supporting hospital infrastructure and improvements that enhance care for patients and families,” said Paula Reaume-Zimmer, President & CEO of Bluewater Health.

In addition to the grand prize and 50/50 draw, the Dream Calendar draw will award cash prizes and luxury vacations daily throughout March and April. A full list of winners is available on the Bluewater Health Foundation website.
