Bob Bailey re-elected as Sarnia-Lambton MPP for sixth term

Bob Bailey has been re-elected as Sarnia-Lambton’s MPP, securing his sixth consecutive term in Thursday’s Ontario election. Bailey, representing the Progressive Conservatives, won with 22,726 votes, maintaining his strong support in the riding.

Bob Bailey has been re-elected as Sarnia-Lambton’s MPP, securing his sixth consecutive term in Thursday’s Ontario election.

Bailey, representing the Progressive Conservatives, won with 22,726 votes, maintaining his strong support in the riding. NDP candidate Candace Young finished second with 8,716 votes, followed by Liberal Rachel Willsie with 8,134. Other candidates, including New Blue’s Keith Benn and independent Nathan Colquhoun, received lower vote shares.

Bailey celebrated his victory at the Wyoming Legion, thanking his campaign team and supporters. Despite not attending all-candidate debates, he defended his approach of meeting voters directly in the community.

Premier Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservatives secured a majority government in the early election call.
