I'm reaching out to locals in our area as well as nursing homes, retirement communities, and healthcare facilities in the area with a request for donations of gently used medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, and other mobility aids. We also take donations such as briefs and bed pads!
I'm starting a new business called Second Chance Equipment with the mission of providing low-cost access to essential medical equipment for those in need in our community. By seeking donations of equipment that is no longer needed but still in good working condition, I hope to build up an inventory that I can then offer to people who may not be able to afford buying these items new at full price. I believe everyone deserves access to the equipment they need to live active, independent lives, regardless of their financial situation.
If you have any medical equipment you are able to donate, I would be extremely grateful. I'm happy to pick up any donations directly from your facility at your convenience.
