In response to Nathan Colquhoun's column "NIMBY language is holding Sarnia back—and politicians need to ignore it"
Dear Editor,
I was taken aback by the NIMBY opinion that included criticism of anyone suggesting that illegal drug use should be a barrier to assisted housing access.
Respectfully, advocacy of social welfare is easiest to those who ascribe to the ideal of a "collective".
I invite the author to consult with law enforcement about any larger assisted housing complex.
The majority of residents are victimized by crime within the complex. NIMBY? No...concerned taxpayers!
