Nominations open for the 34th Outstanding Business Achievement Awards

Nominations are bow open for the 34th annual Outstanding Business Achievement

Awards (OBAAs), the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce announced recently, in partnership with Libro Credit Union.

"The volunteer planning committee for the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards has been working diligently to plan the 2024 awards gala,” Chamber CEO Carrie McEachran said of the event slated for Oct. 18 at the Dante Club Ballroom. ”We are excited to announce the opening of nominations and look forward to celebrating the remarkable success stories of our community.”

Nominations are now open and will close at 11:59 p.m. on June 23, 2024. Members of the public are invited to nominate their favourite businesses, individuals, or entrepreneurs for one of the 12 trophy categories. 

“A panel of judges from Chambers and businesses outside the Sarnia-Lambton community will ensure a fair and transparent judging process,” the Chamber added.

 

The 2024 OBAA Categories include:

• Large Business of the Year (60 plus employees)

• Medium Business of the Year (11-59 employees)

• Small Business of the Year (1-10 employees)

• Non-Profit of the Year

• Member of the Year

• Entrepreneur of the Year

• Agri-Business Award

• Excellence in Customer Service by an Individual

• Innovation Award

• Young Professional Award

• Green Business Award

• Inclusivity Award
