Noelle’s Gift to Children has made a financial commitment of $111,000 to the VON’s Ontario Student Nutrition Program – Lambton (OSNP-Lambton) for 2024.

The funding will help purchase food for Lambton County’s 47 schools, helping to feed 10,100 students each school day, the VON said in a news release.

Noelle’s Git to Children representatives recently attended a thank-you event at Hanna Memorial School where students provided a song of gratitude for the financial support of food in schools.

OSNP-Lambton works with third party funders, local community partners, and schools to raise the remaining funds needed.

“The Student Nutrition Program is a team effort and collectively we are making a significant impact in our community,” said Leslie Palimaka, VON OSNP-Lambton Community Development Coordinator.

“Noelle’s Gift to Children is a valued and vital community partner ensuring that students in Lambton are well nourished and ready to learn.”
