City Hall has undergone a pair of internal realignments.
Two formerly separate services have been joined to create a new Building and Bylaw Enforcement Department.
Adam MacDonald will oversee the department with Corrine Nauta, who joined the city in November, acting as Chief Building Official.
The move standardizes the delivery of services in both areas, said Stacey Forfar, the general manager of community services.
Parks and building management have also joined to create a new Parks and Facility Operations Department.
Leading that department is Trevor Sanders, who is working closely with Patti Ross, formerly the manager of parks, forestry and horticultural services.
The new team will ensure all public and private properties are held to the same maintenance standards, Forfar said.
