Sarnia Ribfest continues all weekend at Centennial Park

Growing crowds and sunny skies are expected as the 2023 Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest continues all weekend at Centennial Park.

Five professional rib teams are on hand to showcase their finest flavours, along with additional food vendors, local craft breweries and wineries, live entertainment, vendors, prize tables and a new kids’ fun zone this year.

More than 25,000 visitors were on hand for last year’s event.

The 24th annual event continues Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m.; admission is $5 for adults and children 16 and under are free.

Saturday night’s entertainment begins at 7 p.m. with Johnny Five, followed by Chain Reaction at 8:45 p.m. and Big Shiny Toons at 10:30 p.m.

On Sunday, the park opens at 12 noon until 7 p.m. Afternoon entertainment will include the Rhythm Junkies, Stevie D Bad and Tru:Fire.

All proceeds go to support local charities.
