Winner crowned at SGCC Men's Invitational

Derek Dalziel of The Oaks Golf Club in London won the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club’s Annual Men’s Invitational Golf Tournament over the weekend.

After a first-round score of 71, Dalziel followed up with a second round score of 70 for a two-round total of 141 to narrowly clinch the victory over SGCC member, Graham Hill.  

Hill shot rounds of 70, 72 for 142 total for second overall.

The two-day tournament drew a field of some 130 golfers from across Ontario and Michigan, including past champions Steve Brown, Jeff Corner, Graham Hill and defending champion, Adam Graham.

Other notable names included Pete McMenemy, Eric Pattenaude, Graham Bell, Heath McCormick, and Graeme Brunet.
