2024 Spring Smash Tournament

The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club (SLPC) is gearing up for its 2nd Annual Spring Smash tournament, set to take place May 2-4, 2025, at Lambton College’s Cestar Recreation and Wellness Centre. Registration for the event opened today at 8 a.m. on Pickleball Brackets.

The tournament will feature Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles competitions at skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.0. Organizers expect participants from across southwestern Ontario and the United States, with last year’s competitors traveling from places such as Kitchener-Waterloo and Pennsylvania.

“Lambton College is a fantastic partner; their facilities are best in class!” said Mike Barron, SLPC Director. “Last year, in our first year, we ran three great days of on-time games and crowned 18 category champions! We can’t wait to do it again!”

Funds raised from the event will support SLPC’s plans to build a permanent facility, which will include indoor and outdoor pickleball courts.

The SLPC is also offering sponsorship opportunities for the Spring Smash tournament. Those interested can email [email protected] for details.
