On August 31st, 2024, two individuals, were travelling in the area of Cathcart Boulevard on foot. One of the individuals was acting as a lookout, on a bicycle, while the other trespassed onto the property of a homeowner in the area, searching for insecure doors.
At 4:30 am one of the individuals, a male, located an insecure door and proceeded into the garage of the residence. The male proceeded to steal Dewalt tools from the residence before exiting and fleeing the area.
The homeowner captured footage of the theft on his home security cameras. The Sarnia Police Service are asking residents to view the footage and contact Detective Constable Jason Boyd at (519)344-8862 x6209 if they are able to identify the male responsible.
