Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Bluewater Health, John Leroy Wynne passed away at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Linda MacLean (2015). Loving father of Michael (Natalie) Wynne, Laura (Shane) McHenry, Candice MacLean, Rebecca (Travis) MacDougall, Cynthia MacLean. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Halle, Dominique, Ethan, Katrina, Sullivan, Nolan and Devin. Dear brother of Joe (Sandy) Wynne and brother-in-law of Barb Wynne. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Orabelle and Howard (Willena) Wynne, and by his brother Bob Wynne. Special thanks to the staff at Bluewater Health ICU for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A live stream of the service will be available on John’s memorial site at the time of the service.
