Peacefully, at Bluewater Health, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, Mary Elizabeth Wray passed away at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late John William Wray for 65 years. Loving mother of Douglas (Ann) Wray, Gordon (Linda) Wray and Anne Wray. Cherished grandmother of John, Lisa (Henry), Nicole, Jason, Michael (Jenny) and Lindsay (Michael). Treasured great-grandmother of 12. Born in Galt, Ontario, Mary transferred with John for his job with the OPP to Goderich, Minaki, Ripley, and after retirement they moved to Sarnia. Mary was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Presbyterian Church, the Red Hat Ladies, and a very happy member of the Golden Girls in Sarnia.
Predeceased by her husband John Wray (2016) and daughter-in-Law Sharon Wray (2008).
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private graveside service will be held in Ripley Ontario.
