It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Burton Woudstra, who went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 21, 2025, at the age of 69. John was born on May 22, 1955, to his parents, Gerry and Alice Woudstra, both of whom predeceased him. He was the beloved husband of Sandra for 33 years, and a loving brother to Gerry (Carolyn) Woudstra. John was also deeply saddened by the passing of his sister, Janet Robbins, prior to his own. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Jodie Robbins, Tammy (Steve) Martin, Jamie Woudstra, Charlene Waite and Dan Waite, and Vanessa Woudstra (Tyler Jones).
John was a proud and dedicated member of the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church, where he faithfully served and contributed to the life of the congregation. He had a deep love for his church and community, where his kindness and generosity touched many lives. John’s warm and caring spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
John will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sandra, and his dear brother Gerry, as well as the many friends and extended family who were blessed to know him.
A celebration of John's life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church, 4524 Confederation Line, Wyoming, Ontario. Visitors will be recieved prior to the service from 10:00 am to the service time. Cremation has already taken place.
