Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Brian Whitehead passed away at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Maureen Whitehead. Loving father of David (Charlotte), Angela (Scott), and Vanessa (Vince). Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Rebecca, Matthew (Colleen), Alex (Jessica), Robert (Shauna), Dylan (Cassie), Kristine, and Meisha (Michelle). Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Elsie, and his sister Hillary.
Brian was a true gentleman who always looked out for others and loved helping his family and friends. He excelled as the Maintenance Manager at Ethyl Canada, earning numerous awards for his dedication. A passionate sportsman, Brian enjoyed cricket, golf, soccer, rugby, running, and swimming, bringing the same enthusiasm and kindness to every part of his life. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished his loved ones deeply.
A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
