It is with broken hearts that the family of John Wayne White announces his passing on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the age of 55. Loving father of Reece Walker, James Walker (Christin Hignett), Amber White and Erika White. Cherished grandfather of Richard, Myeengun, Everly and Amiara. Dear brother of Dorothy White, Norma (Anthony) Romlewski, Robert (April) White, Patricia White, Raymond White, Roger White, Verlynn White-Plain, and Richard White. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Patricia White, brother Ross White, sister Cheryl Lynn White and nephew Raymond White Jr. John is survived by several nieces and nephews, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior. Following the service a meal will be provided at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave., Sarnia. Cremation will follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Aamjiwnaang Food Bank (cheques only at the funeral home please).
