With heavy hearts we announce that, Allen Franklin Welsh passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the age of 64. Born in Wallaceburg to the late William Henry and the Ethel Charlotte (Elgie) Welsh. Allen will be missed deeply by his companion Sherry and remembered as a loving brother of Bunny Atkins (Dave), Wendy Welsh, Karen Welsh and the late William “Bill” Welsh. Dear uncle of Bonny Atkins (Tom Christopoulos), Charlotte Atkins and Michael Atkins. Great uncle to Jacob Lozon, Alyssa and Adam Atkins. Many will know Allen from his over 28 years of keeping our children safe as a crossing guard on Murray Street in Wallaceburg. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11:30am until the time of his funeral service at 1:30pm.
