Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Bluewater Health, William “Bryan” Stafford passed away at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Deborah Lynn Passingham. Loving father of Wm James Stafford (Erica), and Jennifer Kershaw (Scott Leggett). Cherished grandfather of Taylor-Jean Stafford, Wm Alexander Stafford, Owen Kershaw, Liam Kershaw, Sydney Leggett, Hunter Leggett, and Autumn Leggett. Dear brother of Beverley Stafford-Major, brother-in-law of William Tobin (Heather) and Lester Earle. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary Stafford (2013), his sister Valerie Earle, and brother-in-law John Major. Bryan was a lifelong mechanic who loved all things cars, wood working, and sailing. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Benedict’s Church. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Benedict’s Church, 1011 Oak Ave, Sarnia, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health – Palliative Care or to St. Joseph’s Hospice .
