Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on February 14, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Russell William Shaw passed away at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Isabel Shaw. Loving father of Brent (Kim) Shaw, Chad (Krista) Shaw, Cyndi (Tony) Belan and the late Russell William Lawrence Shaw. Cherished grandfather of Carly Shaw, Jessica (Ben) Shaw, the late Stephanie Shaw, Brock Belan, Shawna (Jesse) Racher, Grayson Shaw, Liam Shaw. Treasured great-grandfather to several great-grandchildren. Russell will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends that were like family. Russell was the health and safety inspector for the Ministry of Labour – Health and Safety branch for 30+ years. He was a passionate darts player, often seen honing his skills at various pubs, especially at Paddy's, where he built lasting friendships. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date on the family’s social media. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Diabetes Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Mental Health Association or Inn of the Good Shepherd (cheques only at the funeral home please).
