Peacefully at North Lambton Lodge, with his family by his side, on Friday, December 29, 2023, Edward "Bruce" Richter passed away in his 91st year.
Predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis (2006). Beloved father and sadly missed by his children Elaine (Gary) of Arkona, Mike (Bonnie) of Grand Forks, BC, Sheila (Dave) of Parkhill, Joyce (Don) of Kerwood, Theresa (Don) of Wyoming, Tammy (Bill) of Point Edward. Greatly missed by special friend Joyce Love of Marysville, MI.
Greatly missed and dear grandfather to Brent, Bryan, Trisha, Craig, Jeremy, Chad, Jeff, Derek, Kassie, Matt, Olivia, Brody, Jessie, Nathan, Charlie and Laura. Predeceased by grandson Brad. Great Grandfather to 21 and Great Great Grandfather to 1. Predeceased by brothers Warren and Lloyd. Survived by brother Dan and Sisters Doris and Gwen.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. located at Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East, Forest. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Gilpin Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joyce Arrand officiating. Internment to follow at Arkona Cemetery. Following the internment, a reception will take place at 123 King Street East, Forest, Ontario.
