Abruptly on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, David Postowoj passed away in his 62nd year. Beloved partner of Lori Brodie. Dear stepfather of Lindsay Lane and her husband Owen, and Melissa Taylor. David will be missed by the family dog Benny. Cherished brother of Alexander Postowoi, Larissa Kurucz (Larry Kurucz), Margaret Postowoj, and Karen Postowoj (Jon Bondarczuk). Loving uncle of Neil (Katherine), Sasha, Nikolai, Tatyana, Johnny, Shane, and Kayla, and great uncle to Freyja, Ronan, Shane, Lyla, and Lillia. Predeceased by his wife Francis Postowoj (nee Henry), his brother John Postowoj and his nephew James Riley. David graduated from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario in 1985. He was an entrepreneur and a franchise owner of Wendy’s Restaurants in London and Stratford. David and his family were proud of his accomplishments and he will be remembered for his caring heart and his philanthropy to LHSC, Ivey Business School and many more. He was an avid golfer and a long-standing member of The Oaks Golf Club. Dave enjoyed his dream retirement with Lori at their second home in Los Cabos, Mexico where they shared many memories with new friends. A celebration of life will be held at The Oaks Golf & Country Club, 1552 Gideon Drive, Delaware, on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dave are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
