Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Mary Petryschuk passed away at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Walter Petryschuk (August 10, 2024). Loving mother of Michael (Nancy) Petryschuk, Geoffrey Petryschuk (Susan Andrews), Allan Petryschuk, and Bryan (Tammy) Petryschuk. Cherished grandmother of Amanda (Matt Billings), Stephen (Lisa), Jayme, Julia, Sierra, and Sawyer. Loving Baba to Michael, Liam and Sophia. Born in Amherstburg, Ontario, November 1, 1937 to Ukrainian immigrant parents. Mary enjoyed with Walter their trips traveling around the world together and traveling with their boys across Canada and the U.S.  Time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her most cherished moments. Mary was a founding instructor of DanceFit in Sarnia and continued until well into her 60’s. She was also an accomplished business woman who ran the family businesses and was active on Boards of various organizations. Mary could often be found on the tennis court or at the bridge table, where her competitive spirit came to life! Mary always had a cheerful smile for her many, many friends and will be dearly missed by all.
